Ink Wash Paintings by Joseph Santarpia
Several beautiful ink
wash paintings by the talented artist Joseph Santarpia. I had the pleasure of
visiting his latest art exhibition at Lawrence Alloway Gallery in the Melville
Library at Stony Brook University where he is currently an MFA candidate. Santarpia
works primarily in multi-media collage and watercolor painting, but I
especially love his series of ink wash paintings that echo stratigraphic and cavernous
geology. They are truly amazing!
