“Permanent Green Light” Directed by Dennis Cooper and Zac Farley
Have you heard of the
film “Permanent Green Light”? It is a 2018 French drama film directed by the renowned
novelist, critic, and performance artist Dennis Cooper and the visual artist
Zac Farley. Partly inspired by “The Devil, Probably” directed by Robert
Bresson, this metaphysical youth film tells about a disabled French teen and
his attempts to make himself explode in public, unraveling the phenomenon of
teen suicide in a daring new direction. Very recommended!
