The Jewish Museum in the Upper East Side of Manhattan
There are many museums in NYC that are worth visiting, and the Jewish
Museum in the Upper East Side of Manhattan is one of them. It is
the oldest Jewish museum in the world and the first one in the US, known for
its outstanding collection of art and Jewish culture. “Portal of the Church of
Saint-Jacques in Dieppe” by Camille Pissarro, “Blessing of the New Moon” by Benzion
Sokiranski, and the Hanukkah lamp “Menorah # 7” by Peter Shire are just some of
the highlights presented at the Jewish Museum. The Museum is also home to Russ & Daughters
that is rightfully called one of the best restaurants in New York.
