Early 15th-Century Icon of the Holy Trinity with the Saints

Early 15th-century icon of the Holy Trinity with the Saints from the collection of the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. The composition of this beautiful antique icon is pretty rare. It depicts the Holy Trinity representing God the Father in the form of an old man, God the Son in the form of a child, and the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove, surrounded by the seraphim, ophanim, and saints. The icon clearly shows the traditions of the Novgorod school of icon painting.
