Icon of Saint Tatiana of Rome

Early 19th-century icon of Saint Tatiana of Rome, a 3rd-century Christian martyr who lived during the reign of Emperor Alexander Severus. Saint Tatiana is considered a patron saint of students. Her feast day – Tatiana Day – is celebrated in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus on January 25 of the modern Gregorian calendar and is often called “Students’ Day.” This day is known for its many festive activities and celebrations.
